YOUR GRAMPIANS ADVENTURE

Beaufort – Country Coffee & Lunch Pickup

We'll depart Melbourne and head west through the beautiful Victorian countryside towards the Grampians.

Along the way, we'll stop in the charming country town of Beaufort for a morning coffee and an opportunity to purchase a delicious lunch from a local café or bakery.

Pack your lunch into your day bag, as we'll be enjoying it later with one of the best views in Victoria!

Grand Canyon – Explore the Sandstone Wonderland

Our first hike of the day takes us into the spectacular Wonderland Range on a moderate to challenging 4.2 km return hike.

The trail winds through fascinating rock formations, towering sandstone walls and rugged mountain scenery, including the incredible Grand Canyon.

It's an unforgettable introduction to the ancient landscapes of the Grampians, with stunning natural formations around every corner.

Silent Street – A Hidden Mountain Passage

As we continue climbing towards The Pinnacle, we'll pass through the remarkable Silent Street, a narrow passageway enclosed by towering sandstone rock walls.

This dramatic section of the trail is one of the most memorable parts of the hike and a fantastic place to appreciate the incredible geology of the Grampians.

The Pinnacle – Spectacular Summit Views

Our hike leads us to The Pinnacle, one of the Grampians' most iconic destinations.

Perched high above Halls Gap, this spectacular jagged sandstone lookout offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges, valleys and rugged wilderness.

We'll take our time soaking up the scenery, capturing amazing photos and enjoying a well-earned picnic lunch surrounded by some of Victoria's most spectacular landscapes.

It's a view you'll remember long after the adventure ends!

MacKenzie Falls – One of Victoria's Most Beautiful Waterfalls

After completing our Pinnacle hike, we'll drive deeper into the national park to visit the magnificent MacKenzie Falls.

Follow a steep 2 km return walking trail down into the valley, where you'll be rewarded with the incredible sight of water cascading over a dramatic cliff face into the pool below.

As one of Victoria's largest and most spectacular waterfalls, MacKenzie Falls is a highlight of any visit to the Grampians.

There'll be time to admire the falls, enjoy the refreshing mountain air and capture some amazing photos before tackling the steps back to the top.

Please note that swimming and entering the water at MacKenzie Falls are not permitted.

Boroka or Reeds Lookout – Breathtaking Mountain Panoramas

Next, we'll head to one of the Grampians' magnificent scenic lookouts.

Depending on conditions and timing, we'll visit Boroka Lookout or Reeds Lookout.

At Boroka, enjoy spectacular views over Halls Gap, Lake Bellfield and the surrounding mountain ranges. Reeds Lookout offers equally impressive views across the rugged Grampians landscape.

Both are incredible places to appreciate the scale and beauty of this remarkable national park.

Halls Gap – Spot Wild Kangaroos

Before leaving the Grampians, we'll visit the picturesque mountain village of Halls Gap, where our guides know some fantastic spots to look for wild kangaroos.

Watch these iconic Australian animals grazing in their natural habitat and keep an eye out for colourful native birds and other wildlife.

It's the perfect way to finish a day of incredible hiking, waterfalls and mountain scenery before we make our way back to Melbourne.

Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, but we know some excellent places to look!
