Wildlife Encounters
Interacting with marine life is one of the most heartwarming and fun experiences people of all ages and abilities can have.
Turtles, manta rays, dugongs and dolphins are often making regular appearances, and between August and November. From August to November, humpback whale watching adds another unforgettable highlight. All of this takes place against the spectacular backdrop of one of the world’s most pristine coral reefs.

Your Day on the Reef
Join us for an exhilarating full-day adventure snorkelling and swimming among an array of marine life or simply relax on board and take in the views with a glass of champagne as you explore Ningaloo Reef off the coast of Exmouth.

Our Vessel
Ningaloo Blue operates a 65-foot, state-of-the-art, two-storey vessel. The spacious undercover lower deck offers comfortable seating and easy access to the marlin board at water level, while the large upper deck provides excellent space for wildlife observation and sunbathing.

Seasonal Sightings
Whale sharks are typically seen from mid-March to August, while humpback whales are usually present from August to November. As all encounters depend on wildlife movements, we use spotter planes to help locate whale sharks, humpback whales, manta rays, and other marine life. No matter what you see on the day, the beauty of these giants of the sea and the Ningaloo Reef is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Enjoy opportunities to swim with whale sharks, manta rays,
and other seasonal marine wildlife from September to November.

Transport Options

Choose one of the following options:

·        Hotel pickup: We will collect you from
your hotel in Exmouth town between 7:00 am and 7:20 am.

·        Self-drive: If you prefer to drive
yourself, please meet us at Tantabiddi Boat Ramp at approximately 7:50 am.

 

Snorkeling Gear

Snorkelling equipment is provided, including fins, masks,
snorkels, and wetsuits.

You are also welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer.
Children’s snorkeling equipment is available as well.

 

Snorkelling on Ningaloo Reef

Experience snorkelling on Ningaloo Reef and discover its
vibrant coral gardens, diverse marine life, and colourful fish species.

 

Professional Guides

Our certified guides are informative, friendly, and
professional. They will support you throughout the tour and guide you as you
swim with the wildlife.

 

Seasonal Wildlife Encounters

Depending on the season and conditions, you may have the
opportunity to see and swim with:

·        Manta rays, when they are in season

·        Humpback whales, when they are in season

 

Wildlife Spotting Support

On the day of your tour, we use spotter planes to help
locate whale sharks, humpback whales, manta rays, dolphins, turtles, and other
marine wildlife.

Safety Zodiac Support

A safety tender remains in the water throughout the tour to
provide support whenever needed.

If you require assistance while in the water, one of our
crew members can reach you with the safety tender and bring you safely back to
the boat.

 

Photos and Video

Complimentary photos of your trip are included with your
tour. You are also welcome to take your own personal photos throughout the day. 

A professional video is available for purchase for $60.00 AUD.

 

Food and Refreshments

Food and drinks are provided throughout the day, including:

·        Morning tea: Tea, coffee, and treats

·        Lunch: A smorgasbord with cold meats,
bread, fresh salad platters, fruit, and refreshments

·        Later in the day: Drinks and nibbles.
