Private Aboriginal Guided Mala Walk at Uluru

The Mala Walk follows the base of Uluru on its north-western side, past rock shelters where Anangu have camped, cooked and taught for generations.

You'll walk it privately with a local Anangu guide, a Traditional Owner who lives here in the national park. They'll share the Mala story — the Tjukurpa that belongs to this stretch of country — and show you the rock art along the way, explaining what it's for and why it's still being used. Everything comes in their own words.

It's 90 minutes, which is enough time to stop properly, look up, and ask the things you've been wondering since you arrived. The walking is easy and flat. The pace is yours.

We meet you in the park, so it sits comfortably either side of a sunrise viewing or a quiet afternoon at the rock. Transfers can be added at booking if you'd rather not drive.
