Yalumba Unlocked

The Yalumba Unlocked experience invites you behind the scenes of one of Australia’s most historic family-owned wineries, combining heritage, craftsmanship, wine and genuine Barossa hospitality.

Your experience begins in our beautifully designed Wine Room, where your Yalumba Ambassador will introduce you to the Hill-Smith family and the remarkable story of Yalumba, established in 1849.

From there, you’ll be taken on a privately hosted journey through the historic Yalumba estate, exploring our beautiful grounds, heritage buildings and unique winemaking spaces. Discover Australia’s only working winery Cooperage, where the traditional craft of barrel making continues today, before visiting our iconic Signature Cellar and the atmospheric Tank 11 and Tank 12.

Your tour concludes back in the Wine Room with our Rare & Fine tasting, hosted by your Yalumba Ambassador. Enjoy a curated selection of Yalumba’s premium wines while discovering the stories, inspiration and craftsmanship behind each one. The tasting is accompanied by a generous Cooper’s Platter showcasing the best of local Barossa produce, including Barossa Valley Cheese Company cheeses, Angaston Smokehouse meats, fresh bread from a local bakery and seasonal produce from Yalumba’s own orchard and surrounding Barossa producers.

This is more than a winery tour — it’s an opportunity to discover the people, places and craftsmanship behind Yalumba while enjoying a true taste of the Barossa.

Please note that dietary requirements require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to be catered for.

We recommend wearing comfortable, appropriate walking shoes as the experience includes walking through the grounds and historic winery spaces. Please allow approximately two hours for the full experience.

During peak visitation periods, online bookings for this experience close at 9:30am on the day.

The Yalumba Unlocked Tour departs daily at 11:00am and is available to join subject to prior payment and availability.
