This guided astronomy session explores the night sky through a blend of ancient storytelling and modern astronomy.
Using premium telescopes and a laser-guided tour of the night sky, guests observe planets, stars and distant deep space objects while discovering how different cultures have interpreted the sky for thousands of years.
What to expect
- Guided astronomy session under the dark skies of Cape Range National Park
- Telescope viewing of planets, stars and deep space objects

Location
Sessions take place at Milyering Discovery Centre in Cape Range National Park, approximately 35 to 40 minutes from Exmouth along sealed roads.

Protecting night vision
Guests are asked not to use white lights such as mobile phone torches during the session.
Milyering Discovery Centre is currently undergoing infrastructure upgrades and the site’s usual fully accessible toilet facilities are temporarily unavailable.
