After the sun sets and your eyes adjust to the darkness, millions of stars begin to appear and the Milky Way stretches across the night sky. What if you could capture that with your own camera?

The great news is you can. Astrophotography has its own set of challenges, but with the right guidance it doesn’t have to be difficult.

Our Astrophotography Masterclass cuts through the technical jargon and gives you the skills and confidence to capture incredible images of the night sky, including the Milky Way.

Whether you’re photographing the stars for the very first time or ready to take your night sky photography to the next level, this masterclass is for you.

How the evening runs

We meet at Aldinga Library at 3:30pm for a coffee and a chat. This is a chance for me to get to know you, your experience and your goals, so I can tailor the workshop to suit you.

Part 1: The Masterclass (3+ hours)
Held at Aldinga Library, followed by dinner at the Aldinga Hotel. Drinks are on Adventure Art (meals at your own cost).

Part 2: Bonus Night Shoot (weather permitting)
We’ll head 15 minutes down the road to Port Willunga Beach, where you’ll put your new skills straight into practice photographing the night sky and the Milky Way.

Overview

Refunds: Workshop bookings are non-refundable.

Date changes: Allowed with at least 7 days’ notice.
