With both regions located within two hours of Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and Phillip Island day tour is a wonderful opportunity to experience more of Victoria in one day.
After taking the Beach Road from the Melbourne CBD, see the iconic bathing boxes that are an integral part of Melbourne's history. Enjoy a wine tasting at a premium Peninsula venue, before a winery lunch. Alternatively, head to Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Park, which features native Australian animals in a small, family-run environment that enables you to hand feed many of the marsupials.
Later in the day, we head off to Phillip Island to see key sights including Seal Rocks and The Nobbies, before heading to the famous Penguin Parade, where hundreds of Little Penguins return to their burrows after a day at sea.
